Privacy
Short version: the tools work in your browser, nothing you type is sent to us, and there are no accounts, cookies or adverts.
What you type into the tools
Gauges, measurements, stitch counts and sizes are worked out by JavaScript in your browser. They are not uploaded, logged or shared. The site makes no network requests of its own while you use a tool.
What is stored on your device
- The row counter saves your counters (names, counts and settings) in your browser's local storage, so they are still there next time. Use Clear saved data on that page, or clear this site's data in your browser, to delete them. Export downloads a copy as a file; nothing is sent anywhere.
- If you choose a light or dark theme, or switch on Keep screen on, that choice is saved in local storage too.
Local storage stays on your device and is not sent to any server.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages when it serves them. It counts page views and collects basic technical information such as the page address, referring site, browser type and country, without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. It never receives what you type, paste or choose in the tools. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for how it works.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare handles your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, including our sister sites, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies; nothing is passed to them unless you follow a link.
